1️⃣ The US dollar remains strong amid intensifying uncertainty around the US fiscal stimulus and pessimistic in Brexit talks.
2️⃣ US President Donald Trump has offered a large stimulus package, above $1.8 trillion. However, Senate Republicans are willing to allow for only $500 billion and House Democrats want $2.2 trillion. The deal remained deadlocked.
3️⃣ UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will announce his decision on whether to continue or abandon talks on future relations. EU leaders agreed to extend talks with the UK but do not show any progress had been made.
4️⃣ Coronavirus cases in Europe continue to rise with several countries and regions tightening restrictions in order to contain the spread. Paris and other cities will come under a nighttime curfew.
5️⃣ US Data: US retail sales for September are expected to increase moderately. Meanwhile, UoM consumer sentiment index for October is estimated to remain around 80.4.
