Wall Street indexes traded higher on Wednesday as investors are focusing on Federal Reserve interest rate decision that is expected to remain unchanged at near zero to support the economy still struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, on the economic calendar, US Census Bureau will release data on wholesale inventories. Also, reports on US goods trade balance and pending home sales will also be released. Investors are also waiting for CEOs of Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google to testify before the House Antitrust Subcommittee following a yearlong probe into their anti-competitive practices.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average index climbed 0.26%. On the same time, the S&P 500 grew by 0.36%, while the Nasdaq 100 was 0.67%.
